My name is Nancy Hansford.  I was born and raised in Louisville and lived all my life there until about 4 and a half years ago when my husband and I moved out to the country.  Big change but we both love it!  I have an MSW from the University of Louisville and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of KY.I have worked with people struggling with addiction, the unhoused, and older adults.  I loved each of those areas and learned a lot from all of them.  I have been a mental health therapist at the Leitchfield Office of AIM since December of 2025.  I am available for both in-person and telehealth sessions and accept patients 15 years of age and up.My patients can expect a professional but casual environment in which they can feel free to express themselves without fear of judgment.  I focus mainly on Cognitive Behavioral and Strengths-based therapy techniques.  It gives me great joy to help patients recognize their worth, overcome struggles and improve the quality of their lives!
